DeeMe - Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the DeeMe Terms of Service Agreement. It covers the treatment of user information, including information obtained when you access and use DeeMe, obtained by Application Provider. The effective date of this Privacy Policy is February 8, 2015. The date of last modification is February 18, 2015.

1. Information Collected

Application Provider may obtain the following information from or concerning you or your mobile phone device:

a) User Information

You provide registration information including your mobile phone number, billing information (if applicable), and mobile device information directly to Application Provider. Application Provider may access your address book, contact list, and facebook contacts on your mobile phone from time to time to locate the mobile phone numbers of other DeeMe users.

b) Cookies Information

Application Provider may send one or more cookies to your computer or mobile device that uniquely identifies your browser when you use DeeMe or visit DeeMe sites. Both session cookies and persistent cookies may be used. User can reset his/her web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, the DeeMe site and features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

c) Log File Information

When you visit the DeeMe site, Application Provider's servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your web requests, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser language, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of your request, one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, and your phone number.

2. Use of Information

Application Provider may use your personal identifying information and other information (cookies, IP addresses, usage date, log files) to help with your fast and efficient access and use of DeeMe features; offer personalized content and information to you and others; test, monitor, and improve DeeMe functionalities and features; and investigate or fix technical problems.

Specifically, for example, Application Provider retains your mobile phone number, and your billing information (if applicable). Upon termination of your DeeMe Account, your billing information will be deleted within 30 days. Any personal profile information that you share publicly on DeeMe can be accessible by other DeeMe users (unless such user is blocked by you). Application Provider may use your mobile phone number (or email address, if provided) without further consent for administrative communications, such as announcing service changes or updates. On an aggregate and anonymous basis, Application Provider may track the number of messages sent per day, and the usages of icons, filters, fonts and other features by data analytics including third-party tools such as Google Analytics, to plan for and manage server loads and to improve user experience.

3. Share of Information

Application Provides does not sell or rent your personally identifiable information with third-parties for commercial or marketing use without your consent or except as otherwise provided in this Policy. Application Provider may share your personally identifiable information with third party service providers to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to perform, improve or maintain DeeMe and related services. Application Provider may share anonymous usage data with interested third-parties for advertising and promotional purposes.

Application Provider may disclose user information to law enforcement and preserve such information if required by law, or if Application Provider in good faith believes that such disclosure or preservation is necessary to comply with applicable state, federal, or international laws.

Application Provider further reserves the right to disclose user information that Application Provider in good faith believes is necessary to enforce the DeeMe Terms of Use Agreement, take precautions against liability, investigate and defend itself against any third-party claims or allegations, or to assist government enforcement agencies.

4. Options by User

You have the option to decline to submit personal user information to or through DeeMe. However, Application Provider will be unable to provide you certain services or features regarding DeeMe. If you disagree with this Privacy Policy or the DeeMe Terms of Service Agreement, you should terminate and delete your DeeMe Account, uninstall the DeeMe mobile application. Your continued use of DeeMe constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and the DeeMe Terms of Service Agreement. 5. Data Security

Application Provider undertakes commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the security of user information. No guarantee can be or is made however to ensure that information you transmit to or share through DeeMe will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of Application Provider's security measures. You transmit and share information with and through DeeMe at your own risk. In the event Application Provider becomes aware of a security breach, it will attempt to notify you electronically in order for appropriate protective measures to be taken.

6. Children's Privacy

Application Provider does not knowingly collect or maintain any information from anyone under 13 years of age. DeeMe is not directed to or intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, you are prohibited from using DeeMe. In the event Application Provider becomes aware of any data collected from any user under 13 years of age, Application Provider shall delete that information and deactivate the account.

7. Territorial Considerations

DeeMe and related services are currently hosted in the United States. If you are a user accessing DeeMe and related service from other jurisdictions with privacy laws or regulations differing from the California law, by continuing your use of DeeMe and related services, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and expressly consent to the transfer and to be governed by the California law, which controls the use of DeeMe under the DeeMe Terms of Use Agreement.

8. Change of Control

In the event of a change of control, including without limitation a merger, acquisition, or sale that involves the whole or part of Application Provider and its assets, Application Provider reserves the right to transfer or assign user information as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. The buyer or transferee will honor Application Provider's Privacy Policy as set forth herein. In the unlikely event of a bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment of Application Provider for the benefit of creditors, the treatment of user information may be outside of Application Provider's control.

9. Updates and Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated and changed periodically. Your continued access to and use of DeeMe and the DeeMe site constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any updates thereto. Please revisit this site from time to time to keep abreast of the most updated version of this Policy, the date of which is referred to at the top of this document.
